It all started as a workplace crush back in the summer of 2014...McKenna vividly remembers the first time she saw Eric. He was dropping off supplies to her building, and as he stepped out of the van with that easy smile, the world seemed to slow down for minute. She immediately started finding any and all excuses to get him to stop by her building more, such as faking pen shortages. Meanwhile, Eric was making sure to get assigned to supply deliveries, so that he could be the one to deliver her pens. Soon enough, the workplace crush led to a first date at a tequila bar. McKenna remembers how nice he looked, how he opened the car door for her, how he made sure to tip the waitress, and how nervous he was. Even though all they talked about was work, she knew in her gut there was something special about him. Throughout their relationship, McKenna and Eric have been on a ton of adventures! Each one a confirmation that they have a great partnership full of fun, understanding, love, and commitment. They have been to Tahoe, Hawaii, Disneyland, Disney World, Universal Studios, Mexico, Peru, and many of the Western United States on a super epic, 4-week road trip! They picked up their whole lives and moved to Austin, TX in 2016, and both left pieces of their hearts deep in the heart of Texas when they moved back to California in 2019. They both love to travel, LOVE to eat, love a good beer, and trivia nights. Eric has somehow gotten McKenna to like country music, and Eric now puts Worcestershire on his orange chicken. They couldn't be more excited nor more ready to be embarking on the adventure of marriage together. Eric and McKenna have some big plans and goals for the near future, and are SO thankful to their families and friends who have supported and loved them. They feel extremely lucky to be surrounded by an amazing community of people, and can't wait to celebrate with all of you!
