FAQs

don't text the bride unless there's extra champagne...
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by March 7 (and you can do that right here on our website!)

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered here on Zola and also on Amazon! Click on the registry tab to check out our Zola registry, or select "other registries" to see our Amazon registry. Visit our Amazon registry directly at: https://www.amazon.com/wedding/share/mabelandtroy.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 3:45. Our bride is very punctual & we don't want you to miss any part of the big day!

Question

Dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal attire. And don't forget your dancing shoes! (The ceremony will be on grass - block heels or wedges recommended!)

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your children, but this is an adult-only affair! Think of it as your night off. Take the whole weekend if you want, and leave the kids with grandma or grandpa! If you wish to bring your littles to the Chicago area, we can help hook you up with a day-of nanny or sitter.

Question

Hotel accommodations?

Answer

Because our friends and family are traveling from many different places, we have opted not to reserve a large block of rooms at one specific hotel. This also gives you the freedom to make your visit as long or short as you'd like! There are several dozen hotels within a couple miles of The Nevel Residence at a variety of price-points. We do have a small block of rooms reserved at the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg, see our "Travel" tab for more details.

Question

Transportation?

Answer

Check out our transportation suggestions on the travel note under our "Travel" page!
