Maid of Honor
"Partner in Crime. I met her in middle school and we just clicked. We went our separate ways in college to pursue a nursing career, but somehow ended up being coworkers. I guess we're inseparable. We can be silly together but always have a good time. It is an honor to have her my side on my wedding day."
Best Man
"I met Alex in my freshman year through mutual friends. We had always hung out at school but it wasn't until months later that we realized our houses were literally around the corner from each other. Alex is a fairly quiet person at start but once you get to know him, he's very funny and a genuine friend."
Bridesmaid
"From when we met in preschool, Linda has always been my best friend. In high school we'd get caught cutting class together but always managed to get away with it. Those were some good times. She is the most kind hearted and hard working person I know. Our friendship only grows stronger by the year."
Groomsman
"Dion and I met in the summer step-up program prior to high school. The first encounter was him coming up to me and asking if i could "share" answers from the homework. Dion was one of the first friends I had in high school and we've kept in touch ever since. He's a very outgoing and talkative person. You can count on Dion to keep the conversations and jokes flowing."
Bridesmaid
"Hmm..what can I say about this girl? She's my cousin and best friend. We grew up together and have leaned on each other through thick and thin. She's down to earth and is like the sister I never had. She is also engaged to be married, so we get to share this exciting time in our lives together."
Groomsman
"I met this guy in high school through mutual friends. He was the first among our friends to have Halo on the original Xbox and remember staying up late gaming for hours. Playing basketball, he would always be the one with the handles, and we'd all want him on our team. He moved to LA and started a family, but we still manage to keep in touch."
Bridesmaid
"Although she's Tommy's little sibling, I've always treated her like my own sister (soon to be sister-in-law). We became bffs after she fell in love with my strawberry cheesecake. I promised her that I'd make it again someday...HaHa.. I've watched her grow up from being a feisty little girl to a mature and responsible adult."
Groomsman
"The father to one of the flower girls and soon to be brother-in-law. When I first met Raymond, I was a bit nervous because, well... I was dating his sister. I've seen him go from shoe collector to opening his own shoe store. He's an entrepreneur and a great dad."
Bridesmaid
"Lisa was one the first friend I made in middle school. I still remember her as the funny, tall, smart girl. We were so attached and people often mistaken us as sisters. We would spend most of our time after school going on AIM (yes..AIM, before all those smartphones) or playing with our dogs into the late hours of the night. We don't get to see each other as often, but I cherish the times when we do."
Groomsman
"On weekends, my friends and I would play basketball at Parkside and this is how I met James. It wasn't until later when I found out we went to the same grade school, St. Gabriels. James is always there and down to hang out or throw together a quick gathering. We share the same taste in music and look forward to going to a few more events together."
Bridesmaid
"She's one of the most loyal and genuine person I know. Anyone would be lucky to have her as a friend, but I'm fortunate to call her my best friend and bridesmaid. Angela is something else, and has a very special place in my heart. I mean...look at the picture she chose."
Groomsman
"I know Branton because he is the Maid of Honor's boyfriend (now, fiance). It wasn't until a few years into their relationship that we started to hang out. He's the life of the party and makes sure everyone has a good time. He's an honest and trustworthy person that I'm lucky to call a friend and groomsman."
Officiant
His name is Michael, but we all know him as Webb. We met in high school through mutual friends. Webb was always the "reliable adult" of the group and someone I'd look up to (yeah he's tall). He always has a positive attitude and quite fun to be around with. We lost touch for bit when he went to the Air Force for 5 years, but I'm trying to make up for lost time. I want to thank him for his service and am honored to have him as my officiant.
