It's Happening!

April of 2012 my dear friend David and I made plans to meet up for some drinks after a hectic work week. Of course he was late! But how could I be mad at him when he walks in with this handsome Dominican ; ). Jason and I immediately hit it off, talked and laughed the whole time. The End of the night came and he didn't even ask for my number...Rude! haha. We eventually bump into each other on a different occasion and this time he hit me with the "Here's my number, please text me when you get home, so I know you got there safe" line and it worked!! After that we became the best of friends. There wasn't a day that went by that we weren’t together. When I fractured my leg he was there bringing me gummy worms, slushies and binge watching Tv with me. He truly had become my Best Friend.

Jason promised me a nice romantic evening for my Birthday, He had blindfolded me stating he wanted the evening to be a complete surprise.... AND TRUST ME IT WAS!! We had quite a long drive and when we finally reached our destination and he took the blind fold off I was surrounded by family and friends at my Birthday party that I had no idea he was planning for several months. When it was time to accept his gift I was once again blind folded ( there goes my makeup again!) . And once it was taken off I was once again surrounded by the people I love with their cameras out, my nephews and nieces holding balloons that read "Will You Marry me?" and having my best friend on his knee with a ring in his hand. Hands down the BEST birthday ever!!
