We first met as freshmen at Trinity University in San Antonio, where countless hours in the pool as swim teammates made us fast friends. It wasn’t exactly love at first sight (though the chemistry was definitely there), timing just never seemed to line up. By senior year, we were living together as friends and even sharing a bathroom (a true test of compatibility, in hindsight). Somewhere between late night study sessions, early swim practices, and the everyday chaos of college life, fate stepped in. What started as a friendship turned into something more, and we’ve been choosing each other (happily) every day since.
