Is there a dress code?

Answer

There isn’t a strict dresscode, but we encourage guests to dress elegant while also being mindful of the special occasion (i.e. no jeans). Gabriele has requested for the men to wear a tie rather than a bow tie. Please also be aware of the need to cover your shoulders when attending the church ceremony.

Is parking available for guests attending the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Please arrive in time to find a parking space near the church as this can be challenging. We recommend parking near the river Tevere on either Lungotevere Ripa or Lungotevere Aventino. Otherwise parking spaces might be available on Piazza della Bocca della Verità, Clivo dei Publicii or Via dei Cerchi near Circo Massimo. As a last resort, parking will be available on Largo Bruno Baldinotti which is a 2km (30 minute) walk but Ubers will be available. At Villa dei Consoli there are plenty parking spaces!

Can we stay at Villa dei Consoli the night of the wedding?

Answer

Unfortunately Villa dei Consoli does not offer overnight accommodation. However, there is a wide selection of hotels and apartments in both Rome and the nearest town Frascati.
