We met at Case Western Reserve University in 2013. We were the only two clarinet music majors at our school! Zach asked Lindsay to play in his senior recital which led to a long, chain of emails that we sent back and forth over winter break. We went on our first date in January of 2014, and that was how it all began!

Our first trip together was to the Netherlands and Belgium in the summer of 2014. We took a road trip to Niagara Falls shortly before graduating from CWRU in 2017. Zach started school at Arizona State University in the fall of 2017, and we moved across the country to Phoenix.

We took a spontaneous weekend trip to San Francisco in November 2019. After flying in and stopping at our Airbnb, we took a bus to Baker Beach late at night. Little did Lindsay know, Zach was setting the scene for a proposal with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background!

Who knew that life would change so drastically in 2020? After over 2 years of being engaged, we will finally be getting married!
