I don't see an RSVP option for the Rehearsal Dinner. Why is that?

Answer

The rehearsal dinner RSVP option is only visible to those who are part of the wedding party or immediate family. If you do not see the option on your personalized RSVP form on our Zola website, please assume you are only invited to the main wedding events (Ceremony and Reception).

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. We recommend arriving at 4:00 PM to allow time to find your seat. sip some bubbly, and mingle before we say "I do!"

Is there a dress code?

Answer

BLACK TIE GENTLEMEN: Black Suit (jacket and trousers), white dress shirt, black tie (or neat necktie), black dress shoes. LADIES: Black Long gowns, midi dresses, or sophisticated cocktail attire are all welcome.

Can I bring a date?

We are excited to celebrate with all of our closest friends and family! To keep our event intimate, we are only able to accommodate the guests formally invited on your invitation. If you received a plus-one, they will be specified on your invitation.

We love your little ones! However, to allow all of our guests to relax and enjoy the celebration, we have chosen to make our wedding day an adult-only occasion. We hope you understand and enjoy a night off!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there are several convenient options for parking near The Citizen Hotel: 1. Valet Parking at The Citizen Hotel (Paid) The hotel offers onsite valet parking with the following estimated rates for event guests: Hourly Rate (for events): The fee starts at approximately $10 for the first hour, up to $25 for 3–6 hours. Overnight Rate (for staying guests): $49 per night (includes in-and-out privileges). 2. Nearby Public Parking Garages (Self-Park) For guests looking for a potentially more affordable alternative to valet, there are several city parking garages just a block or two away from the hotel: City Garage at 10th and I Street Garage at 10th and L Street (across from the Capitol) Lot on 11th and I Street If you choose to self-park, we recommend checking the operating hours and rates for these garages upon arrival.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Guests flying in can arrive at Sacramento International Airport (SMF). The Citizen Hotel is about 15–20 minutes by car from the airport, depending on traffic. Taxi/Rideshare: Taxis, Uber, and Lyft are readily available at SMF and will take you directly to the hotel. Rental Car: If you prefer to drive yourself, there are multiple rental car agencies at the airport. Public Transportation: For a more budget-friendly option, Sacramento Regional Transit buses are available, though rides may take longer and require transfers.
