The ceremony venue is climate-controlled, but the reception venue is not. While they do have fans and heaters, it is advisable to dress for the weather and to bring a layer to put on or take off depending on the temperature. Additionally, there is a short distance between the parking area and barn at the reception venue that is covered in gravel. For those with mobility concerns, a golf cart will be available to pick you up at your vehicle and drive you to the entrance.
Dinner will be served in a buffet style and will include roasted honey glazed chicken, prime rib, meatballs, penne pasta, cheesy potatoes, green beans, salad, and fruit. Chicken tenders will also be offered for younger guests. In addition to wedding cake, the groom's family also will be baking numerous treats for a cookie table. Water, coffee, tea, and soft drinks will be provided. Big Oak Meadows does not permit liquor on its premises, but various wines, beers, and hard seltzers will be available to those of drinking age.
