For those looking to avoid a rental car during your visit, there are several train options connecting Orange County and San Diego with stops in Oceanside. Options include Amtrak, Metrolink, and COASTER. We've personally taken Amtrak and Metrolink in the past and both have been great options for getting into Oceanside from Orange County.
