A night of celebration

We met at an afterparty for the GSA Summit held at our college. This was pre-Uber days and mutual friends within both of our friend groups were planning to go and walk over together. We barely interacted on the walk over, but during the course of the night found ourselves sitting next to each other, talking, and eventually dancing together. On the walk home we held hands and felt a spark and talked the whole way making plans to watch Harry Potter movies together. When we arrived to campus, Lyric noticed that she was missing her ID needed to get into our dorm building and dining hall. Chantelle knocked on Lyric's door to offer her phone number as to help getting into the building while she was without an ID*. The next day we watched movies, listened to music and talked for hours. We haven't stopped talking since. *To this day Lyric is still convinced that Chantelle had something to do with her missing ID. 11 years later this has yet to be confirmed.
