How we met

05/15/2018

Online, of course! BUMBLE! It went a little something like this... Friday- Downloaded the app Bumble. Sat- Lynzy swiped right on Jason (who had NOTHING written about himself, Lynzy was only going off of that captivating smile, and thought his pictures looked pretty well-rounded) Sun- exchanged phone numbers Mon- planned to go on our 1st date, which was postponed by Jason bc he wanted to push it back to have it be on Taco Tues, Lynzy’s favorite day of the week. Tues- First time meeting and the first of 4 consecutive dates.. that lead to.... NOW!

The Proposal

12/24/2019

We started the day with breakfast at Breakfast Republic then headed to The Rack for last minute Christmas Shopping. The Only real plan for the day was to go to the Christmas Eve Service, followed by dinner at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. We headed to the restaurant and waited for our table to be ready, finally being seated almost a half hour late. It didn't matter to Lynzy because she was in Christmas bliss, at her favorite restaurant with her favorite person... as for Jason... the night was going by sooooooo slow LOL.. We finally were seated at the best table in the house! With that excitement we asked the waiter to take our picture, and responded with, "Of course, and we can take some more throughout the night!" So accommodating they are! While Lynzy ran off to the bathroom, the waiter came to the table, where He and Jason could plan the remaining events of the night (Later exchanging the ring downstairs and the waiter carrying it in his apron all night). After dinner, we put in our dessert order and the Waiter’s assistant came over and said, " I heard you want to take some more pictures?!" The two of us never hesitate at a photo opp, but internally Lynzy thought it was weird, but just went with it! We headed out to the patio because it apparently "Has a beautiful view with all the boats lit up," So we followed him outside and started to pose! Next thing you know, the waiter came outside with our plated dessert accompanied with a "box". Lynzy saw written on the plate, "WILL YOU"... She immediately threw her hands on her face and started sobbing (hoping the rest of the plate said, MARRY ME?, not... PAY THE BILL! lol) Jason grabbed the Box off of the dessert plate and got on his knee! SHE SAID YES! Special memories from the day; Jason had carried the ring in the box IN HIS SOCK ALL DAY, just in case a perfect moment happened earlier in the day. To top it off, Jason sentimentally put the ring in Lynzy's Grandmas wedding ring box!
