We Eloped!!!

Matt and Lynzi met in 2016 while he came to tag along during some of her time out to sea. Matt asked Lynzi to go to brunch and nervously she said yes. During the rest of 2016 and through 2017, they were friends and would enjoy food together...mostly Pizza and brunch :) They went back and forth for a year on if they should date but the timing never worked out for the both of them. In August 2018 while in New York City, Lynzi turned to Matt and said "Why haven't we tried to date yet?" and he replied, "Our timing never worked out but I have wanted to." They spent the next five months going back and forth, waiting on Lynzi to be ready to actually date. In January Lynzi asked Matt to add the extra 2% to their relationship to officially start their committed relationship. After a 5 month deployment for Lynzi and Matt got home from being out to sea, he finally decided it was a decent idea to propose! Although, he did not say anything the first time he got down on one knee (he claims that he went black when she started crying) Lynzi made him get back down to ask a question because he wasn't getting an answer unless he asked. So he got back down on one knee and asked with a PLEASE and she said yes!
