Matron of Honor
Brittney is the best friend of the bride, since circa 1993. They first met in 5th grade, when Lynzie was new in town. If you know one, you know the other. They've been through quite a lot together in the past 25 years, and have lots of inside jokes. Don't worry, they rarely share them.
Bridesmaid
Alesia is the youngest sister of the bride. They first met in 1988, when Alesia was brought home from the hospital. Lynzie was unsure of her sister at first; Alesia was a really weird looking baby. But that changed after a few years, and they are now quite close. Alesia is also an insanely talented artist and has contributed several pieces to the ceremony.
Bridesmaid
Katie has also been friends with the bride since the fifth grade. They suffered through many, many awkward years together, and rarely bring it up as blackmail, despite all of the photographic evidence. Somehow, those awkward fifth graders knew that they'd be in each other's weddings. Lynzie is glad they were right.
Bridesman
Gary and Lynzie have been friends since the early- mid 2000s. Both parties are unsure of the official date. However, it's been at least 10 years. Gary has been around for all small and not so small events in the life of the bride, and Lynzie is honored and thrilled to have him in the bridal party. He'll be beautiful in a dress.
Bridesmaid
Rebecca and Lynzie first met during their first years at North Georgia College and State University, when Rebecca's roommate joined Lynzie's sorority. The two quickly realized that they had much in common and would make awesome roommates. They spent the next three years living together in close quarters in the dorms, and the next 15 years being permanent fixtures in each other's lives. Rebecca wins the award for bridesmaid traveling the farthest, as she now lives in Lee's Summit, Missouri.
Bridesmaid
Nichole first met the bride through her husband Ryan, who is besties with the groom. The boys joked that Lynzie and Nichole would become BFFFFFFFs before they actually met, but they had no idea how true that would become. Two and half years later, the two families are now neighbors, and they each seek solace at the other's house when necessary.
Ring Bearer
Owen is the nephew of the bride, the younger child of her brother, Mickey. He lives in Macon with his mom and dad and beautiful older sister, Adia. Owen is seven years old, and loves superheroes, video games, and his aunt Lynzie.
Ring Bearer
Oren is the older son of matron of honor, Brittney Giles. He is eight years old and attends Furlow Charter School. He loves his parents, his little brother, Ezra, and his cousins, and usually likes to hang around his Aunt Lynzie. He loves video games, superheroes, and watching weird YouTube videos that his parents don't get.
Flower Girl
Piper is the niece of the groom, the daughter of Colton. She is five years old. She loves her family, arts and crafts, going fishing with her daddy, and rocking out. She's a pretty decent drummer.
Flower Girl
Kember is the daughter of Abby, the girlfriend of best man and brother of the groom, Colton. Kember is five years old. She loves gymnastics, going to Piper's house, drawing pictures, and monsters. She's a pretty cool kid.
Flower Child
Ezra is the younger son of matron of honor, Brittney Giles. He is four years old, and loves his family, Mickey Mouse, space ships, and his cats, Peggy and Donna. He loves pretty much everything, and loves to smile. He's pretty good at it.
Best Man
Colton is the younger brother of the groom. He has lots of rad tats. He is also the father of flower girl, Piper. He's pretty useful. He can fix things with his hands. He is tied for second favorite brother.
Best Man
Caleb is the youngest brother of the groom. He is a recent college graduate from Georgia Southwestern. He has two dogs, Venus and Lilly, and a cat that he doesn't claim. He has great hair. Sometimes he looks Greek. He's also tied for second favorite brother.
Groomsman
Ryan is a good friend of the groom. They first met in high school, that one year that Ryan attended Southland Academy. They met again in college when they rushed the same fraternity. They remained close, and are now neighbors. They bro out many days of the week. But not on school nights.
Groomsman
Stephen is one of the groom's oldest friends. They first met in kindergarten. Matthew remembers thinking that Stephen smelled weird, but decided to give him a shot anyway. Almost 30 years later, they're still friends and also work together, and see each other almost every day. It's kind of weird.
Groomsman
Nathan and Matthew went to high school together, and have remained "tight" through the years. Nathan is always down for a concert or festival, loves to fish.....i mean LOVES to fish.....builds cool things with his hands, and is always there when you need him. He's also really tall. He is aware.
Groomsman
Dylan and Matthew first met serendipitously at their favorite local hangout, Pat's Place. They bonded over beers and haven't looked back. They could probably go for more than a week without seeing each other, they just choose not to. Dylan still believes in Santa (but secretly thinks he's Jewish).
Groomsman
Matthew and Stephen first met as "frat bros" in 2003. They have remained close, even though Stephen moved to Brunswick several years ago. Stephen is father to two strapping young lads, has a hot wife, and gives great high fives. Try it.
Groomsman
Daniel and Matthew have been friends since they were small boys. Well, high school boys. Daniel is one of a kind, and always knows how to make Matthew man giggle. They have lots of stories that involve bad decisions, and they're never scared to share them. "Rule of thumb: don't trust people with thumb rings." --Daniel Faulkner
Groomsman
Matthew and Jonathan first met when they worked at Roman Oven in Americus. Jonathan has since moved to Atlanta with his beautiful wife and three boys, but they still manage to get together for shows and beers. Jonathan works hard providing life saving computer programs to hospitals in Africa, but is still always available for his friends.
Brother of the Bride/Aisle Walker Downer
Mickey is the (slightly) older brother of the bride. He has the distinct honor of walking his favorite sister down the aisle on her big day. He is also the father of Adia and Owen, and husband to Laura. He thinks Matthew has a cute laugh, but don't tell anyone. He's the bride's favorite brother, and will do an awesome job of walking in their father's stead. In the picture, he’s the one on the right.
