FAQs

Question

How do we get around Key West?

Answer

The island is very walkable. The hotels will have shuttles to downtown and the Key West Duval Loop bus are great options.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Tropical cocktail. Think cocktail attire with a relaxed, beachy twist! Guests are encouraged to dress in semi-formal outfits that feel elevated yet comfortable in a warm, tropical setting. For women, this could include flowy midi or maxi dresses, breezy fabrics, or dressy jumpsuits. Bright colors, soft pastels, and tropical prints are all welcome. For men, lightweight suits, linen button-downs, or dress shirts with slacks are great options. Jackets are optional, and ties are not required. Loafers or dressy sandals work well.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving at least 1–2 days before the wedding to allow time to settle in, explore Key West, and account for any travel delays.

Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Probably not! Key West is very small and walkable, and most hotels, restaurants, and venues are only a short walk, bike ride, golf cart ride, or Uber away.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We will be providing a hotel room block for guests who would like to stay together. However, since everything in Key West is close by, guests are more than welcome to book accommodations that best fit their budget and preferences.

Question

What is the weather like in Key West?

Answer

Expect warm, tropical weather! Lightweight clothing is recommended, and don’t forget sunscreen, sunglasses, and comfortable shoes.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Transportation details will be shared closer to the wedding date.
