Harper's Ferry Expedition

For those in town early enough, we hope you'll join us for a day of adventure in Harper's Ferry, West Virginia! Under 30 minutes from Frederick, Harper's Ferry sits at the junction of the Potomac and Shenandoah rivers and boasts a National Historical Park along with many stunning biking and hiking trails. Meet at River Access Parking Lot at 10:30am. There is some parking there ($20), or more parking at Harper’s Ferry National Park Parking (also $20) and a shuttle to River Access, or you can try to find free parking around Bolivar. There will be two hike options: Loudoun Heights Trail (a bit more strenuous) or a stroll through Virginius Island (very easy). Bring bathing suits if you want to hop in the river!

Take it easy after a day of exploring or travel by joining us at Harper's Ferry Brewing. Grab yourself a cheeky pint and a few bites while enjoying some stunning views. (Note: the brewery is around a 5-minute drive from downtown Harper's Ferry.)

All are invited to join us for a casual evening of food and drinks the night before the wedding, hosted by Denise and Danny Lynn. For those driving, there is abundant parking at the nearby Court Street and West Patrick Street garages in addition to street parking.
