Harlan County Lake
Fishing, boating, kayaking, swimming, parasailing, skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, playing on the area playgrounds, and enjoying food and drinks at the local marinas and bars. ATV & jeep trails are in abundance also along the Republican River and Cedar Run ATV Trail. Peckerneck Trail is also a fun experience for those hiking and/or riding horses, located just South of Alma on Hwy 183.
Nebraska Fishing License
If you are planning to fish make sure you go to this website, create an account and then you will be able to purchase your Nebraska fishing license. There is a three-day fishing license option. Anyone under the age of 16 is not required to have their own license as long as they are fishing with someone who does.
