In February 2015, Lynnetta was walking into church like any other regular Sunday and so was this guy (Cameron) whom she believed was also a member of the church. Lynnetta spoke to say hello, Cameron responded with hello. A short dialogue about each other's Valentine's Day (which was the day before) happened and then they said goodbye and that was it!

In April of 2016, Lynnetta and Cameron ran into one another again at church by sitting on the same row. This time a joke between Cameron's brother Jon started in regards to Lynnetta's two year old daughter. Lynnetta being the witty comeback person she is, made it very clear that although the joke was funny they needed to be quiet and pay attention in church. At this point, this would be the on-going joke whenever Lynnetta and Cameron would see one another. So around May 2016, through the spookiness of Facebook, Cameron came up in Lynnetta's "People you may know." So she sent Cameron and friend request and he accepted. Nothing more was said. So after about a month and a half of "Like's" on photos and comments. On June 28, 2016 Lynnetta finally inboxed Cameron asking jokingly, "Cam do you have IG or Snapchat? I'm going to stalk you on social media." He replied with his social media name for both, asked Lynnetta if she wanted any additional pertinent information and offered his phone number telling Lynnetta that's another way they could communicate and she didn't have to stalk him. A solid messenger conversation went on for the next few hours because they both were at work. At the end of that day, Cameron called Lynnetta and he then asked her out to eat that same evening.

On the evening of June 28, 2016, Lynnetta and Cameron agreed to meet in Hayward to grab a bite to eat at 7:00pm. However, that was interrupted when Lynnetta dropped a friend off and got out the car to say a few words to another friend. Not noticing that she laid her phone on top of the car when she got back in. When she drove off, she heard the phone slide off the hood of the car and noticed that she did not have it. Over the next 30 minutes Lynnetta searched a busy street for her phone, but to no avail. At that point Lynnetta decided to give up and call it a lost. She went to the meeting place to see if Cameron would still be there, true enough he was still there. Cameron stated, he thought they were supposed to meet at 7:40 pm. Lynnetta explained what happened with her phone. Cameron offered to help her find it and they spent the next hour looking for her phone. Cameron eventually found it and although it was broken up, the fact that he took time to find it definitely put him in a different class in Lynnetta's mind. Cameron asked Lynnetta what she wanted to eat since it was late and she replied with the first place that she saw and said, "Popeyes." Cameron looked surprised and said, "You want to go to Popeyes?" She replied "Well it's the only thing open over here." Cameron agreed to go to Popeyes, but told Lynnetta, "Remember you chose to come here, so don't go around telling people I'm cheap and took you out to Popeye's." Lynnetta laughed and agreed. They spent the next hour talking in Popeyes and finished talking some more as they headed to Nations for cheesecake desert. Although Lynnetta's phone was broken, her and Cameron made sure to keep in touch via messenger over the next few days until she got a new phone.

On July 2, 2016 Cameron asked Lynnetta out on a date, but they both had busy schedules that day so they decided to make it a desert date for later that evening. Not realizing the time would be far spent with other obligations, they were not able to speak with one another until much later in the evening in which Lynnetta thought it was more than likely not going to be a date at all. Cameron insisted they go to BJ's and asked Lynnetta for her address. Arriving at her home within 30 minutes, he stood outside waiting on her in front of his car to open her door (Lynnetta asked Cameron, "why are you standing out here like a limo driver? He replied, "To open the door for you!" They laughed), they headed to BJ's ordered desert, talked about everything they could possibly think of. After BJ's they decided they didn't want the night to end, so Lynnetta invited Cameron in and they talked some more over several games of UNO until Cameron had to go to work at 4am. After a few months of "hanging out", Lynnetta and Cameron went to a Bad Boys concert to have some fun and that is when things became "official" and they've been rocking every since. It was the sweetest start to an even sweeter beginning.

On June 22, 2018 Lynnetta planned a family trip for most of her family to go with the kids. With so many things planned and fun times with family the memories alone would be fantastic. On June 24, 2018 after a tour of Pear Harbor, Lynnetta and Cam along with family, friends, and strangers get back on the tour bus to head back to the hotel. The shuttle bus driver announces that he met Cam and Cam told him he knows some things about Hawaii so he's going to test his knowledge.👀 Lynnetta's mother turns around and looks at her and says, "You think he knows anything?" She replied, "Not at all!" 🤨 Anyway everyone exits the bus and boom that's when it all starts. What most people don't know is that Cam is crazy. Lol... He's the guy that will take Lynnetta out to a restaurant or anywhere and get up and loudly profess his love for Lynnetta (She's had some delightful embarrassing moments)😳. So when the bus driver gives Cam the floor to talk, Lynnetta begins thinking here we go... He's lied to this man telling him he knows things about Hawaii and he's about to embarrass us. Nonetheless, Lynnetta put on a smile like a good gf would lol. So when Cam begins to talk about Love part and comes to Lynnetta and touches her, she quietly say, "What are you doing? Don't start this today!" Thinking... here he goes with the PDA. It wasn't until he explains the gesture that it clicked and she looked at her Mom who had the biggest grin on her face and Lynnetta then noticed everyone recording on their phones in which it set in. Lynnetta's heart instantly started beating fast and she thought to herself OMG is this really happening?!💓 Cam expressed his love for Lynnetta in such a sweet way, so when he popped the question all she could say was, "Heck Yea." A casual encounter has turned into the start of a beautiful love story. Now... the two are on their way to becoming one.
