WHAT DOES "BLACK TIE OPTIONAL" MEAN?

Don't be afraid to fancy it up a bit! That said, this is an outdoor venue so consider weather when selecting your attire. Ladies: Although Lynn would totally use this excuse to ditch the scrubs and wear a full- or mid-length dress, a sundress is also a wonderful, and very appropriate option! Fellas: Tuxedos are welcome and encouraged, but not a requirement. As an alternative, a dark-colored formal suit will look great in the gardens and on the dance floor!

WHAT SHOES SHOULD I WEAR?

Answer

Calling all ladies! Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held in the gardens. Please wear comfortable shoes- preferably with a wedge or block heel. Heel stoppers will be provided on site to allow you to walk comfortably on grass and protect your shoes if you prefer to wear stilettos.

WHERE SHOULD GUESTS PARK AT BARTRAM'S GARDENS?

Answer

Free valet parking will be available for those who drive to Bartram's Garden.

IS THERE A SHUTTLE FROM THE HOTEL TO THE CEREMONY AND AFTER-PARTY?

Answer

YES! A shuttle will be available to transport guests from Hotel to Bartram's Garden. At the end of the reception, a shuttle will also be available to take guests back to the Hotel and afterparty. Please check transport page for pick up times.

ARE CHILDREN INVITED?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we want our wedding to be your night off! We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time if possible so that you can celebrate with us child-free.

IS A COVID VACCINE REQUIRED TO ATTEND THE WEDDING?

Answer

All guests attending the wedding are encouraged to be vaccinated and boosted. If unvaccinated, please obtain negative covid testing the day(s) before the wedding. We value our friends' and family's health above all else, and want to ensure everyone's safety to the fullest extent possible.

ARE MASKS REQUIRED?

Answer

Valid proof of vaccination is no longer required for most Philadelphia dining locations. If vaccinated, you will not be required to wear a mask at Bartram's Garden or in other wedding weekend private event spaces. That being said, we completely understand and respect any guests who may wish to wear a mask.
