Nathaniel and I have known each other for a while. Starting at church, Nathaniel was in my high school small group. We have been roommates off and on since 2019. Nathaniel is someone I know I can count on to talk to and who will give loving, supportive and needed advice. I am thankful for Nathaniel and the love and compassion he has for those in his life.

Sarah and I have known of each other pretty much our whole lives but we became best friends in middle school. It was through watching her example at camp in middle school that I began to make intentional time with the Lord each morning and I am forever grateful. She has always been the friend with a fun adventure idea who takes it from "That would be fun!" to "Let's do it, for real." I would classify Christian as a friend that everyone needs in their life. He and I met at church in small group and ever since, I have been blessed to see Christian allow the Lord to work through His life. Talking about ministry and personal life with Christian is always a gift that I will cherish for a lifetime.

Julie and I met when she began attending the college group at our church, which is also where she met my brother, Jared, who she has been married to for 14 years! We had the opportunity to be in a small group together and form a friendship of our own while they were dating, which was a great place to get to know each other outside of dating my brother. Julie brings joy everywhere she goes and it has truly been an honor to have her as a sister!

I’ve known Nathan’s family since he was a baby. His parents went to the same church as my family. It wasn’t until I led a high school small group that we started to form our friendship. I am so committed to our friendship, I got a ticket driving back from Oregon after visiting him during his first year of college. Nathan is truly one of my greatest friends and inspirations of faith and integrity.

Crystal and I met when our churches merged and she stood out as someone who radiated beauty and creativity! She stood out to my brother, Rod, as well and has now been married to him for 10 years! She and I were also able to be in college group and a small group together so we were able to get to know each other! She is such a joy to have as a sister!

I met Jarod’s parents and aunts before I met Jarod. We met at church, in a small group. I seriously value our relationship together. I went from leader to ministry partner to friend and Jarod has made each of those transitions so seamless. Some of my fondest memories would be serving alongside Jarod in youth ministry and seeing him invest into student's lives so intentionally. Now, you will find Jarod worshiping and serving the Lord with unashamed boldness, this is why Jarod is one of my closet friends.

Jodi and I work together on the same team and she has become one of my dearest friends! We have been through some high highs and some low lows together as we have worked through multiple changing seasons day in and day out. She is a friend who will always ask intentional questions, which I love. She leads our marriage ministry, so she has been an amazing resource and example for me as I step into marriage!

James and I met, just like the other guys, in a small group at church. Having a conversation with James, you feel and see his heart for people. I have always admired his sincere and gentle spirit. Serving in youth ministry with James has always been a joy. To have James stand by my side for my wedding is nothing short of an honor.

Abby and I met when she was in 11th grade and I was her small group leader! We've been able to serve together on the worship team and we meet together every Saturday morning for accountability and Bible study. Her friendship is a treasured one for me!
