Trevor and Lynette were celebrating the festivities at a mutual friend's St. Patrick Day party when they were paired together for Beer Pong and met for the first time. As the couple across the table from them continuously made out, Lynette turned to Trevor and said, "We aren't doing that!". The pair stumbled through a game that ended in victory. The couple made it official 5/11/2011.

Trevor appeared around the restaurant corner, guitar in hand, singing Elton John's "Your Song" as Lynette nervously began to laugh realizing what was happening. The couple had been out to dinner celebrating their 8 year anniversary with a concert of their favorite band to follow. Trevor bent down on one knee and asked Lynette to be his wife as a rose gold ring swiveled from a red rose. Full of tears, Lynette exclaimed a yes!
