Welcome!

After admiring one another from afar for over a year in various classes at UC Davis, we were finally introduced by a mutual friend in an advanced botany course. It would only take another 6 months for us to start dating in January 2019. From then on the rest is history and we have filled our days with birding, hiking, fishing, plant collecting, cooking, knitting, and (more recently) waterfowl hunting (and working!!). For two years we traveled the western US working as itinerant biologists conducting bird surveys. We have recently returned to UC Davis as graduate students, fulfilling both our lifelong dreams to become ecologists. We look forward to a lifetime of embracing our interests, cultivating new ones, and supporting our constant growth.
