How do I RSVP?

Answer

Easily RSVP by clicking the dedicated tab above and entering your name. We're excited to celebrate with you, but if you're unable to attend, simply select "not attending" to help us finalize our guest list. We'll miss you if you can't make it!

What do I wear?

Answer

Our bridesmaids will be wearing black attire. We invite you to choose a color that makes you feel confident and comfortable—black is absolutely welcome, but so are other colors. The only guideline is to avoid wearing white, which is traditionally reserved for the bride. Our priority is for you to feel amazing and enjoy celebrating with us.

Can I bring a plus one? Are my kids invited?

Answer

If your invitation includes a plus one or specifies that children are welcome, you're all set! Otherwise, we kindly ask that you respect our venue's space limitations. We appreciate your understanding.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 3:00. Please arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony to get settled.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, we'll be offering an open bar featuring a diverse selection of beverages, including beer, liquor, seltzers, and wine. We suggest bringing some cash, as the complimentary bar service may have a time limit, and the Expo does not accept card payments.

What is for dinner?

Answer

We are delighted to feature a catered meal from Smokin' Hereford, a restaurant based in Storm Lake, who will be preparing our wedding dinner. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know.

When is the bridal shower?

Answer

If you’d like to join us, we’d love to have you at the bridal shower on April 26th from 1–3pm at Pomeroy Covenant Church—the same venue as our ceremony. Please don’t feel any pressure; your presence is appreciated in whatever way works best for you.

How do I get home after the reception?

Answer

As the evening comes to a close, we want to make sure everyone gets home safely. Transportation will be available after the reception for any guests who may need a ride. A bus will be provided—just let the driver know where you’d like to be dropped off, and they will take care of the rest. Planned stops include Pocahontas, the Pomeroy/Twin Lakes area, Storm Lake (for those staying there if needed), and anywhere in the Marcus area. Please don’t worry about parking—you’re more than welcome to leave your car at the Expo Center so you can relax and fully enjoy the evening. Your presence means so much to us, and nothing matters more than knowing you’re able to celebrate safely. If you have any questions, we’re always happy to help
