On a clear day, you can see Molokai, Lanai, Mānana Island (Rabbit Island), and Kaohikaipu Island (Black Rock). It’s especially beautiful at sunrise! In my opinion, it’s the easiest hike for all ages, with a gravel path leading up to the top.
Another scenic spot, this is my go-to place when I need the salty ocean breeze. From here, you can see the Mo’o Islands—three small islands that resemble the head, body, and tail of a lizard. According to legend, the mo’o used to stand upright, guarding Hawaii and killing anyone who tried to intrude. This spot is hidden and doesn't have any signs directing you to Laie Point, as it's tucked within a residential area.
This is my favorite location to get a cool treat! Their shaved ice is legendary, so I’d swing by earlier—this place fills up fast most of the time. Portions are island-sized (aka huge), so totally worth sharing… unless you’re feelin’ bold and sugary! Hours of operation are 12pm-6pm.
