We met at a bar called Norms. We both had been going there for more than three years, yet never said a word to each other. On April 26, 2009, my best friend, Frankie, introduced us. I was having my birthday bbq that weekend and invited him to come. Coincidentally, his birthday was two days after mine. He came and we talked and set a friends date for the next Tuesday to go to a movie. We had a good time together. So, he asked me to go on a first date to Benihana. That was May 28, 2009. We haven’t looked back.

We were having a staycation at The Palomar Hotel in downtown San Diego. We had a penthouse with multiple balcony views of the San Diego skyline. As we were sitting and enjoying time on one of the balconies, he all of a sudden got on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was a beautiful evening with a fantastic view of downtown San Diego - beautiful! No ring necessary. I, of course, said “yes!” He then called my dad and asked his blessing. It was amazing!

July 25, 2023. Whill and I started discussing the idea of finally getting married. We can’t imagine our lives without each other and want to promise forever before God, family, and friends. So, he asked my daughter, Sara, and son, Zachary, for their blessing. He continued on and asked both my parents for their blessing. It was so special!

We will be having a small, intimate wedding with just family and a few friends. Our ceremony will be in beautiful Presidio Park, San Diego, CA. Presidio Park has special meaning to us, as one of our first dates was there.
