Pitt Attractions

We're excited to share a few of our favorite Pittsburgh places with you!

Mt. Washington

Pittsburgh, PA

This neighborhood is known for its panoramic city views - and has excellent restaurants such as Altius and Monterey Bay Fish Grotto. Take the cable car (called the Monongahela Incline) from Station Square to get the full experience.

Strip District

Pittsburgh, PA

Lined with converted warehouses, this neighborhood has a vibrant mix of old-style grocers and gourmet food shops, boutiques, bars and more. Go on Saturday morning to enjoy their street market. Some of our favorite stops are: La Prima Coffee, Peace Love and Little Donuts, Enrico Biscotti, The Pennsylvania Market, Wiggle Distillery and Cinderlands Warehouse. This is also home to the original Primanti Brothers - a famous Pittsburgh Sandwich Shop.

Lawrenceville

Pittsburgh, PA 15201

This is where the cool kids hang out! Check out Butler Street in Lawrenceville where you'll find trendy restaurants, bars, vintage shops, boutiques and more. Some of favorite restaurants/bars include: Pusadee Garden, Poulet Bleu, The Abbey, Vandal, Church Brew Works, Arsenal Cider House, Bar Botanica and Over Eden.

Point State Park

601 Commonwealth Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15222
, (412) 565-2850

Located downtown (a short walk from our hotels), this park marks the point where the three rivers merge, and has excellent views of Heinz Field and PNC Park. This is a great place to stroll with your morning coffee!

Market Square

Pittsburgh, PA 15222

Located downtown (a short walk from our hotels), this charming square is lined with restaurants, and would be a good option for lunch or dinner!
