Tis the season to be married

Once upon a time, in the world of online dating, Lyndsy was ready to give up—having attempted to cancel several times in her head, she finally got out the door feeling less than enthusiastic in a baseball hat and cowboy boots. Meanwhile, Tripp had low expectations, bringing along two friends, asking them to wait at the bar next door, just in case things went south. As the date went on, the two got more comfortable, and Lyndsy told Tripp to bring his friends on over. The two friends who attended the first date are now the best men in their wedding.

Picture a casual evening, in the Coffield's comfy log cabin, sitting around the fire at christmastime, having a glass of wine and getting to know each other. Tripp, trying to be funny, walked over to his dad, knocking his phone from his hand. To retaliate, Tripp's dad threw the phone at Tripp. Tripp ducked, andddd...Lyndsy was seated behind him. This resulted in an immediate goose egg, and two black eyes, just in time for her company holiday party. Needless to say, Tripp's dad claims he initiated Lyndsy into the family that day. The mark on her forehead still remains.
