Chase and Lyndsi first met in 2011 when they had dinner together with a group of friends. Although nothing came of this night, the two never forgot each other and remained connected throughout the years. When Lyndsi graduated college in 2018, Chase asked Lyndsi to get together and catch up. An instant connection, the two couldn't get enough of each other! Chase asked Lyndsi to an Old Dominion concert in St. Augustine, Florida in November 2018. Every year since then, the two have made the same trip to St. Augustine. The rest is history!

Lyndsi and Chase booked their annual St. Augustine trip in December of 2021. Chase had bigger plans for this trip! He requested for their families to be waiting at Costa Brava restaurant at the Casa Monica Hotel. Chase got down on one knee at a private location in the heart of St. Augustine and surprised Lyndsi with both of their families at dinner. "St. Augustine is such a special place to us.
