Stroll along the streets of the historic district of this tiny waterfront town. You'll find local shops, boutiques, Cafes, coffee shops, restaurants, pubs, and more.
You can't visit Havre De Grace without a walk on the Promenade. Not only will you walk along the river the entire time and have wonderful views, you'll also get to see so much Susky River wild life; Mallards, Canadian Geese, Bufflehead, Blue Bills, Wood Ducks, Great Blue Herons, Red Squirrels, etc.
Smaller state park along the Susquehanna. You can venture out on the trails, walk along the river on the old rail line, or visit the old Mill for some cool pictures of the waterwheel.
The tallest waterfall in this region of Maryland. It is about a mile hike back to the falls (uneven terrain) and during the summer, you'll often find people swimming in the area around the falls.
Rock formation that has a history with the Native American tribes from this region. There is a parking area at the top, or if your feeling adventurous, park at the bottom and hike up. At the top you'll get breathtaking views of Rocks State Park and Deer Creek.
Turkey Point Lighthouse is located on the Turkey Point Cliffs in Elk Neck State Park. Great views of the river, but be warned, it's about a mile hike (flat terrain) to get to the lighthouse. No entry cost.
Local town park located on a peninsula in the Susquehanna River. Has a 1 mile long paved walking path, several sports fields, and multiple River access/viewing points. No entry cost.
