We've been friends & war buddies for years and stayed in close touch after Sara (Trey's late wife & one of Lyndsey's besties from ACU) went to heaven, as Lyndsey technically needed to ask Trey's permission to keep taking his children on grand adventures. Then we kept finding reasons to talk that didn't have anything to do with Clara & Alice. We accidentally fell head over heels, crazy in love - but it didn't matter, as we continued to live in different time zones and that wasn't going to change. But then this pesky pandemic hit, Lyndsey got furloughed, and there wasn't a reason to not be in the same place and do this for real. Trey very wisely said "Just come back to Texas" and a few months after that followed up with "Will you marry me?" which culminated in Lyndsey, Clara & Alice jumping up & down for joy! Which leads us to now...where many, many, many of you can finally say: "We told you so!"
