Things To Do
Gettysburg National Military Park
This is only a half hour drive north of Lyndsey's family home. Well worth the visit and if you let us know, we have an audio CD car tour guide to tell you all about the events of Gettysburg as you drive around the park!
Washington
There are too many museums and sites to count, but if you want to get here with ease we highly recommend taking the MARC train from Baltimore Penn Station (only $8 one way!). If you want more info on getting to and from DC from Westminster, please don't hesitate to ask!
National Aquarium
Amazing for kids and adults alike! Right in the heart of the Inner Harbor, its a great day out for the whole family.
The Walters Art Museum
For the museum lovers, this one is Lyndsey's local favorite!
Oriole Park at Camden Yards
For baseball fans, this park is a must see! The weekend of our wedding they will be playing the Yankees (Friday and Saturday) and the Red Sox (Monday-Wednesday).
Maryland Science Center
Another great spot for kids and their families! Lots of fun activities await in this amazing center.
Inner Harbor
With tons of restaurants, nightlife and activities for all ages, the Inner Harbor is great for your first foray into Baltimore!
Fells Point
One of two of our favorite neighborhoods in Baltimore, Fells Point is full of restaurants, bars and little shops for a great afternoon's worth of shopping and an evenings full of food and drink!
Federal Hill-Montgomery

Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine
Rich in the history of Baltimore and our National Anthem, its a small but fantastic historical site to visit! A picnic basket would not go amiss here.
Philadelphia
For those of you staying in the area a bit longer and hoping to make a vacation out of your trip, Philly is only a 2.5 hour drive! Its a vibrant city with a lot of amazing museums, restaurants and places to visit.
New York
By train, bus, or plane, NYC is super easy to get to. If you have plans on travelling to the Big Apple, let us know and we can give you more recommendations!
Assateague Island
This is by far the furthest site away from our house but it is famous for its wild horses and beautiful scenery. Expect a 4-5 hour drive if you fancy visiting!
