What time should I arrive to the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM. We ask that everyone arrive and be seated by 5:15PM.

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we will be keeping this special day an adults-only occasion. Only individuals 16 years and older.

What should I wear?

We are recommending everyone dress in semi-formal attire.

Can I take my own pictures at the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an "unplugged" ceremony. We ask that everyone silence and put away electronic devices until the ceremony is complete. No worries, there will be plenty of opportunities to grab photos with us at the reception!

Is there a place to stay near Houmas House?

Answer

Houmas House has a limited number of cottages that can be booked by contacting them directly. Please notify them you will be staying for Lyndsey Myers & Devan Lowder's wedding and a discount will be provided. It is recommended to book via phone, as online booking will not provide you with the discounted price. There are hotels off of Highway 30, one interstate exit over, as another option.
