He swiped right because she was cute, clever, and from Ontario—which, to a West Coaster like him, basically meant “just visiting.” What she didn’t expect was to fall head-over-heels for him and for the two tiny humans who came as a package deal. And what he didn’t expect? That the girl from Ontario—who actually enjoyed sleeping under the stars—would become the woman who stole his heart and his kids' affection (in that order). One moment they were trying to impress each other with travel stories, and the next was packing snacks, negotiating bedtime like a UN diplomats, and mastering lego builds together. Somewhere between waffle Sundays and bedtime giggles, they fell in love.
