Lyndsay and Jovin met in 2016 at Mount Saint Mary College, where they both played basketball. During winter break, when only the basketball players were still on campus, Lyndsay confidently walked up to Jovin at a party—and the rest was history. Soon after, Jovin challenged Lyndsay to a game of pool to decide their first date. What he didn’t expect was Lyndsay’s competitive side (and athletic talent). Lyndsay quickly won the first two games, but finally made a deal: if Jovin won the next one, they’d go on a date. He did—and their first “fancy” college date at Shake Shack sealed the deal. In 2017, they officially became a couple and have been cheering each other on ever since. Lyndsay went on to earn her Master’s in Social Work from Rutgers and become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. With Lyndsay’s support, Jovin built a successful career as an Event Operations Manager. Years later, Jovin planned the perfect proposal at a beautiful arboretum in New Jersey. Lyndsay said “yes” to forever, and their next chapter began. In October 2025, they moved into their first home together—making October even more special. Already a favorite month because of their birthdays, they are excited to add their wedding anniversary to the list now!
