FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the Aurora Inn at 4 pm. To make your arrival more enjoyable, Aurora Inn's 1833 Kitchen & Bar will be open beginning at 3:30 PM for wedding guests. Feel free to stop in for a drink and relax before the ceremony festivities begin.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding is cocktail/formal attire. Feel free to dress in a way that makes you feel comfortable, but please keep in mind that the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held on a lawn. We recommend wearing shoes suitable for grassy areas.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We’re so excited to share our day with our loved ones! Please check your invitation for details on whether you are welcome to bring a guest.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

As much as we love the little ones, our celebration will be adults-only. The Inns of Aurora policy only allows children aged 8 and older, so we kindly ask that you make arrangements for younger children if needed. We hope you understand, and we truly appreciate your help in making the day special for everyone!

Question

Where should I stay?

We’ve secured a room block at the Aurora Inn and Walcourt Hall for our guests at a special rate of $599 per night with a two-night minimum. To book, please follow the link provided under the accommodations tab. For more options, we’ve also compiled a list of additional accommodations in the area, which you can find under the Accommodations tab on our website.
