Two of our dearest friends suggested we should meet, so we trusted their judgement and had our first date on November 11, 2014. We hit it off immediately and found our lives and families shared many similarities. To name a few, we had a mutual appreciation of good food, the same tastes in music (mostly!), and a love for the outdoors and the water. Above all, we both highly value our friends and families. Our lives and personalities seemed to fit seamlessly together from the very start. Loving one another has always been easy and comfortable...we are so thankful to have met!

There was a surprise 70th birthday party for Lyndsay's dad in Florida. At the time, Lyndsay was in Aiken, SC with her horse while Jeff was home in PA with Wes & Addie. Lyndsay and her mother made travel plans to get her to FL just in time for the surprise, but between Jeff's work schedule and the kiddos, getting him to FL seemed impossible. Little did Lyndsay know, her mother and Jeff were secretly planning to surprise her as well. Jeff and Wanda conspired together to get him to FL, and he arrived at the party shortly after Lyndsay. She was shocked to see him, but thrilled at the surprise. Little did she know, there was one more surprise to come! The next night, Jeff asked Lyndsay to take a walk out to the dock. At this point, it was clear that Jeff had something more on his mind than a walk...he was rather anxious! When he popped the question, he was adorable and nervous, but Lyndsay put him out of his misery with an immediate YES!
