In order to give an accurate count to the catering staff, we need an RSVP by July 25th. If your plans change, please reach out to the bride and groom. If your RSVP is not received by the 25th, no worries. We will assume you're unable to attend and your seat may be filled with other guests.
Lyndsay and James have built a beautiful home together, and have decided not to register anywhere. The bride and groom would prefer monetary gifts that will help them plan a beautiful honeymoon.
Unfortunately due to the size of the ceremony venue and limit of 80 guests in the reception space, we aren't able to accommodate additional guests. Invited guests have been named on the invitations and here on Zola.
I know this is a question you don't want to ask but may be curious about. We would love to have everyone attend the ceremony, however we will be exchanging vows at a family home and cannot accommodate all 80 of our closest friends and family. We appreciate you for understanding and look forward to celebrating with you at the reception downtown!
There's no color theme or scheme, please come in your favorite formal attire. Late September in Detroit is usually pleasantly warm, but be sure to check the forecast.
Valet parking has been purchased for all guests attending our reception at the Detroit Foundation Hotel. For guests attending the ceremony, street parking will be available.
We will be serving a variety of family style options to accommodate all guests! If there are any dietary restrictions or allergies, please contact the bride or groom for them to coordinate with the venue.
Absolutely! We encourage guests who plan on enjoying the open bar to plan stays at either of the hotel options, or find safe transportation.
Directly across from our reception venue is the Fort Ponchartrain Hotel. Please refer to the hotel information on this website under TRAVEL. We were unable to secure a room block for the Detroit Foundation Hotel, but you are welcome to book your stay with them directly www.detroitfoundationhotel.com
We ask that you allow the bride and groom to debut their first photos as husband and wife. Feel free to share videos of you dancing at our reception!
