Colton and I met when we were both in high school. He was one year ahead of me, but because he was homeschooled he ended up being in my 20th century history class. We were both on the same track team, but we both weren’t too fond of each other. After my plans changed for my college choice, I decided to look into Ethnos360 Bible Institute because of my love for missions. Colton had already done one year here by the time I became interested, so in talking to him about the school, we both began to like each other. Our first date was at Jackson Coffee Company, and it wasnt until 4 months later that we started dating. I knew I wanted to marry him very soon after, he was the most polite person i’ve ever met and his love for the Lord drew me in! All of my hopes of marrying him someday were confirmed when he proposed to me at our favorite hiking spot in Michigan. Our future plans after we get married are to come back to Ethnos where I will be completing my last year, finishing up the New Testament and he will be interning in Sports Management. We are one of five first-year married couples, which is so exciting! Lord willing, our ultimate goal is to go through two additional years of missionary training and head off to the field to be overseas missionaries. We are so excited to see you all soon to celebrate!
