It is highly preferred. We have reserved a block so that our guests receive a special rate as well as a $15 F&B credit per night. There will also be a few events scheduled that are near the hotel.
Not recommended. Easy to Uber/Lyft as the hotel is close to restaurants and shops downtown. Parking can be difficult to find, and valet parking is often expensive.
February in Austin can feel like spring or winter, but wedding events are mainly indoors so you won't be exposed much to the outdoors.
