Daniel and Lynda first met in October of 2009 at a martial arts school in Frederick, Maryland. There was also a second location in Gaithersburg. In 2010 the pair were talking to each other all the time, and Lynda started attending classes taught by Daniel at the owner's Gaithersburg location. Also in 2010, Daniel invited Lynda to his Dungeons & Dragons group. At first, Lynda turned him down, but then she accepted and began attending games regularly at Daniel's home in Olney. The duo began to officially date in October 2012. Daniel began discussing marriage with Lynda in February 2013. On October 18, 2014, Daniel bought Lynda's engagement ring during a trip to the Maryland Renaissance Festival, and during the same trip he proposed to her. She said YES! In the intervening years, and until the current pandemic, Lynda and Daniel together taught kendo in Rockville. In 2017, Daniel's older son Patrick married Heidi. In January 2020, Daniel received his annulment from the Catholic Church. Lynda and Daniel set their wedding date for October 2020 and began to prepare for marriage in the Church. In September 2020, Patrick and Heidi welcomed their daughter, Vexalia to the family. And they lived happily ever after!
