FAQs and our responses, as known, so far:
Question

When is your wedding?

Answer

October 3, 2025 from 4:00 - 11:00 P.M. As our wedding is a full Catholic mass, some may choose to only join us for the cocktail hour and reception. That's totally fine - that starts at 5 P.M.!

Question

Where is the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at Aldrich Mansion (836 Warwick Neck Ave, Warwick, RI 02889). https://maps.app.goo.gl/yJPYAwZynFJ1xZ1W7 Curious for a virtual tour? https://www.aldrichmansion.com/virtual-tours

Question

When / how do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP, ASAP. To RSVP, (i) click on the RSVP tab on this website (www.zola.com/wedding/lynchodriscoll/rsvp), (ii) enter your name, and (iii) indicate your attendance, meal choice, dietary restrictions, and any special requests. If you need to change your RSVP, please contact us directly at kbodriscoll2025@gmail.com.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

If indicated on your wedding invitation (i.e., "and guest", or your plus-one's name), you are welcome to bring someone (just make sure you RSVP for both of you!). We included plus-ones as those dating longer than 1 year. If we made a mistake or you have any questions, please contact us. See you and your plus-one on October 3rd! Some invitations say, "Family," and those included within that definition will show up on the wedding website when you RSVP. Due to limited venue space, we unfortunately can't accommodate anyone beyond those named on the wedding invitation.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only (21+) event aside from those involved in the ceremony.

Question

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please let us know any dietary restrictions or allergies when you RSVP, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Question

What airport should I use?

Answer

Depending on where you're flying from we recommend either (i) Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport (~15 minutes from the venue with many hotels, including the Hyatt where we blocked off rooms, offering free airport shuttles - https://flyri.com/passengers/shuttles/), or (ii) Boston Logan International Airport (~1.5 hours from the venue)

Question

Where should I stay? Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

You can stay at a: 1. Airbnb/Vrbo. Warwick and Providence have many options if you’re looking to book with friends or family. 2. Hotel - Please see our "Travel" tab for more information. Please stay where you are most comfortable, but we have a room block at Hyatt Warwick. Please note: the price is guaranteed for both nights, but you are not required to book more than 1 night to secure the pricing (i.e. no 2 night minimum is required). Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black Tie Optional. We encourage guests to wear whatever they feel comfortable in - some guests have expressed interest in wearing a floor-length evening gown or tuxedo while others have asked to wear a cocktail dress or suit - we are fine with either! Need more inspiration? Check out this article: https://www.theknot.com/content/what-to-wear-formal-black-tie-optional-black-tie-invited Our bridal party is our "something blue" with bridesmaids and bridesmen wearing dusty blue and groomsmen wearing blue neat suits.

Question

My dress has white OR I'm wearing the same color as the bridal party - is that okay?

Answer

Yes, please wear whatever makes you feel comfortable! No need to stress about avoiding specific colors - we're very relaxed and just want you to feel your best.

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

You will have access to both indoor and outdoor areas for the duration of the evening. If weather permits, cocktail hour will be held mainly outdoors with additional cocktail tables in the sitting room and bar area. The ceremony and reception will be indoors. All areas are wheelchair accessible. Historical average temperature is 68° high / 47° low with a 32% chance of rain. Sunset is at 6:23 P.M. so make sure to get some good photos before the sun sets!

Question

Transportation: Is there parking available at the venue? Other options?

Answer

Yes, there is complimentary parking available at Aldrich Mansion. Please enter through the main gate and follow the driveway to parking. You may park in any open spot in the parking area to the left of the mansion or directly in front of the mansion. You are able to leave your car overnight, but you have to remove it by NOON THE NEXT DAY (e.g., noon on 10/4). We're currently exploring options for shuttle services or coordinating rideshare groups for your convenience. More information about transportation arrangements will be shared closer to the wedding date, so please stay tuned for updates on our website. Directions to the venue can be found in the “Travel” tab of our wedding website. We recommend using the map application on your phone for accurate navigation.

Question

What time should I arrive? What's the wedding day itinerary?

Answer

We recommend arriving at least 10 minutes before the ceremony begins to ensure you have time to find a seat and get settled. Please head to the chapel when you arrive, which is <5 minute walk from all parking areas. There is no time gap between the wedding ceremony and reception so please walk (~2 minutes) over to the main house for cocktail hour directly after the ceremony. The mansion is open to all guests starting at 5 PM. Other questions? Check out the "Schedule" tab on our website!

Question

Where should I sit?

Answer

For the ceremony, you may sit on either side of the chapel in any seat that does not have a "Reserved" sign on it. For the reception, you will have an assigned seat and table. You can find your seat using our digital seating chart in our programs (distributed during the ceremony) and/or a physical seating chart located inside and to the right of the front mansion entrance.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

There will be an opportunity to capture photos at the start of the ceremony. For the remainder of the ceremony, we kindly request that you put away your phones and cameras so you can fully be present with us in this special moment. Our photographers will capture the ceremony and we will share those photos with you! Of course, please feel free to capture any photos the rest of the night. We even have an app to link all our photos: [TBD]

Question

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

Yes, live your life!

Question

Where can I find the photos afterward?

Answer

In addition to the app (TBU), we will share a link to a shared drive with wedding guests so they can enjoy the professional photos once we have them! Our public page, which will have raw photos posted ~2 weeks after our wedding, is: https://www.thepros.com/BriannaLynchOct3

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The bar will be open for the duration of the event (cocktail hour, reception) with last call at 10:30 P.M. The bar is located in the library, which is to the right of the entrance. We are planning to serve wines, beer, and spirits at our wedding. If you have any special requests you think everyone might enjoy, please add that to your RSVP! Don't feel like drinking or curious if the bar can make a specific mixed drink? Non-alcoholic options include: 1. Beverages: Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Diet Sprite, Ginger Ale, Club Soda, Tonic Water, Seltzer Water, Regular Water, Milk, and Juices (Orange, Grapefruit, Cranberry, Pineapple, and Sweetened Lime) 2. Mixes and garnishes: Bloody Mary Mix, Sour Mix, Grenadine, Cherries, Olives, Cocktail Onions, Lemon, Limes

Question

Is smoking allowed at the venue?

Answer

Yes, outdoors only.

Question

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

It brings us so much joy to have you with us on our wedding day! Your presence is the greatest gift of all. If you would like to honor us with a gift, we have a registry posted on our website and a card box will be available at the reception.

Question

What is your wedding hashtag?

Answer
