Here’s a quick guide to help you dress appropriately for the day while keeping the setting and terrain in mind. Semi-Formal Attire: We ask that guests wear semi-formal attire to match the elegance of the event while considering the natural setting. Please avoid heels and other shoes that could not handle the gravel pathways and rocky lakefront location.
Please note that there may be a line of cars waiting to enter the Lake of the Woods Resort area, especially as we get closer to the ceremony time. We recommend allowing a little extra time for parking and arriving at the venue. Plan to arrive by 11:00 AM - 11:30 AM to ensure you have enough time to find the gazebo and get settled before the ceremony begins at 12:00 PM. The ceremony will take place at the lakefront gazebo at Lake of the Woods Resort, located in beautiful Klamath Falls, Oregon. Upon entering the resort, follow the signs for the main parking area. Past the Lodge Restaurant, you’ll see a path leading toward the water. The gazebo is just a short walk from the parking lot, situated right by the lake with stunning views. The path may be a bit uneven, so please be mindful of the terrain as you make your way to the ceremony location. If you need any assistance or have trouble finding the gazebo, don’t hesitate to ask a staff member for directions.

BBQ Buffet
1:30 pm - 3:00 pm
BBQ buffet includes: choice of: smoked pork ribs, BBQ quartered chicken, BBQ pulled pork served with the following sides: red potato salad, green salad, house made coleslaw, and baked beans. Lemonade, Iced tea, and water will be served alongside the buffet. There will be a bar for beer, wine, and our signature cocktail. Please Text Lyla at 503-328-5856 if a vegetarian or vegan option is needed! Also note that a walk-up window for a full bar and more food options are located a short walk away from the gazebo at the Lodge Restaurant if anything else is needed during the duration of the event.
First Dances and Parent Dances

Music and Dancing with Family Mystic
3:15 pm - 5:30 pm
The formalities are over with! Time to enjoy the music and the lake. Flip flops and swimsuits are welcome at this point!
We are thrilled to have our favorite band accompanying our special day. Please share a dance with us! It would mean the world to us to have our friends and family dancing to our favorite band in this sentimental location.
Dessert is Served
5:30 pm
Please enjoy a table of desserts rather than a traditional wedding cake. This will allow for a casual vibe as our friends and family enjoy the music and lake recreation!
Grand Exit
6:00 pm
This concludes the music and official festivities! Guests are welcome to enjoy the private lakefront beach surrounding the gazebo that has been rented until 9 pm. We highly recommend hanging out for sunset! The nearby lodge offers dinner and drinks as well. Thank you so much for taking part in our big day!
