Should I stay downtown (close to the venue)?

Answer

It really depends. Phoenix is a very spread out city and downtown isn't necessarily the cultural hub. If you want to be close to the venue, absolutely go for it, but we recommend exploring a little bit and seeing what space might be best for you!

Please arrive between 5 and 5:30 for welcome cocktails. Dinner starts at 6:15!

Honestly, probably pretty bad. We recommend taking an Uber/Lyft/Waymo to the reception. Have you ever been in a Waymo?? Try it out! There is limited parking on site, so you can always try to beat everyone else.

Great question. Unlike many cities, downtown is not the thriving center of culture in Phoenix. Some people like to stare at plastic wine moms in Scottsdale, others prefer watching parades of large Mormon familiies walk down main in Gilbert. Your choice.
