With COVID-19 still very much a concern, we have decreased the size of our in-person guests dramatically. Our venue can accommodate 400+ guests, but we anticipate having fewer than 100 guests in attendance. This ensures that our guests can practice social distancing appropriately. Masks are strongly encouraged and will be provided upon entry to the venue, as well as hand sanitizer. Food will be served by staff so that guests will not come into contact with serving ware. The health and safety of our guests remains our top priority, and we completely understand if you choose to celebrate with us virtually. It started like most days: I had an exam and had planned to MAYBE drag myself out that night to be social. Our medical school class was having its annual Halloween party, and I had the perfect Daenerys Targaryen costume put together (complete with a dragon). After much weighing the pros and cons with my roommate, we both decided to be social despite our exhaustion. Of course, we had tons of fun and danced the night away with our girl friends. As I was preparing to leave and saying my goodbyes, this cute curly-haired guy in my class named Samuel Rose came up to me.....dressed in a full kilt (see Photos for visual depiction). He insists that we take a picture together before I leave, so I oblige. I was so confused when I left; I had no idea he had ever noticed me! We exchanged numbers the next day, and soon we were having our first date (post-exam breakfast) at Primo's! We clicked instantly, and I knew he was something special. Every moment since has been full of joy, laughs, and extremely nerdy jokes.
