Question

Clothes

Answer

We are going to be dressed up nice for our wedding and hope you will too! Anything a step up from casual is perfect. Think backyard wedding, walking on grass, and looking sharp for our special event. Wear whatever you want to the Casual Friday Gathering.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Kids under 10 are not invited. We know and love many of your kids and can't wait to hang with them at another date!

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We wanted a small wedding. But we love all of you, and that means we’re having a kinda big wedding. To keep the guest list manageable, we are not doing plus-ones. If someone’s name was not on an invitation, they are not invited. We will accept appeals though, so if you’re feeling particularly put out by not having your boo around (who we probably like a lot, but again, numbers) please let us know and we might make an exception.

Question

Where can I eat around here?

Answer

There are a lot of restaurants in Northampton. You can also hop over to Easthampton for even more options (Robby really likes Daily Operation, and there’s lots of breweries over there, too). This is by no means an exhaustive list, and is generally arranged with breakfast/lunch/cafe options near the top and dinner options closer to the bottom. Jake’s (sit down): A Northampton classic and Pepi/Lewis-Nash favorite for breakfast and lunch. Bluebonnet Diner (sit down): Your basic, old-timey, slightly greasy spoon diner with a toy train chugging along its tracks at the top of the walls. Woodstar Cafe (sit down/takeout): Probably the best cafe in town. All the normal cafe things, as well as a lot of sandos and baked goods. Good for breakfast and lunch. Hungry Ghost Bread (takeout): okay they just have bread and baked goods, but this place is legendary in the world of artisan bread. If you like a crusty loaf, go get yourself a French batard, pick up some charcuterie from State Street Market across the street and have yourself a picnic. The Roost (sit down/takeout): Another cafe. They make some really good cakes and desserts. Familiars (sit down/takeout): A nice cafe with outdoor seating options. Sandos for breakfast and lunch, as well as pie. Amanouz (sit down/takeout): Mediterranean restaurant with offerings for all meals. Mosaic Cafe (sit down/takeout): Another mediterranean restaurant with offerings for all meals. Indian Food (sit down/takeout): Bombay Royale, India Palace, and India House all have good Indian food in downtown Northampton. La Veracruzana (sit down/takeout): Mexican. Great salsa bar. Paul and Elizabeth’s (sit down): Another Northampton classic. Farm to table fare before that was even a thing. Good for lunch and dinner. Jim Nash says “they cook fish to perfection.” Pinnochio’s (mostly takeout): Pizza by the slice, counter service. Quick, easy.

Question

...where can I eat around here, continued.

Answer

Roberto’s (sit down/takeout): family/Italian restaurant. Robby thinks their pizza is sub-par, but Dora Lewis and Jim Nash like it as well as their caesar salad and puttanesca. Spoleto (sit down): Italian fare, on the more expensive side for Northampton. Herrell’s: some good ice cream. The line gets out of control in the summer. Known for their hot fudge. The Watering Hole: the best Northampton dive bar. Try the fresh squeezed screwdrivers and greyhounds. The Dirty Truth: a nice bar with good draft beer and tasty food.
