St. Aloysius Church does not have a parking lot. Street parking is available, you will have to either pay at the meter or pay through the ParkDetroit App. Or you can park in a parking garage or lot, there are a few off of Washington Blvd. You can use the app ParkWhiz or go to the site, ParkWhiz.com, to find lots or garages available nearby, you can even prepay on the site. The Norwood has a lot behind the venue, 22 W Milwaukee St Parking. Spots have been reserved, just tell the attendant you are here for the wedding. You enter the lot off of Milwaukee Ave. If you don't want to park there you are welcome to either park on the street or in a lot/garage.
Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors.
You can drive from the ceremony to the reception, it is only a 11 minute drive if you use Woodward Ave. Uber/Lyft is also a great option if you don't feel like driving. There are many Ubers/Lyfts available downtown. Lastly, you could take the Q-Line on Woodward, which is currently free. You can hop on at Campus Martius and take it to Baltimore St. or Grand Blvd.
Unfortunately, due to venue constraints/budget restrictions, we are unable to accommodate extra guests beyond those listed on the invitation.
