Is there parking?

Answer

Downtown Charleston has limited parking. We highly recommend using Uber/Lyft for the welcome party and wedding. However, many Airbnbs/hotels are within walking distance of at least one venue! The Visitor’s Center Parking Garage is located directly behind The William Aiken House: 63 Mary Street, Charleston, SC 29403 The Cumberland Parking Garage is a 3 minute walk to Poogan’s Courtyard Welcome Party: 82 Cumberland Street, Charleston, SC 29401

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The gates to the venue will open at 3:30 PM. Please plan to arrive no later than 3:45 PM, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We kindly request formal attire. For men, we suggest a dark colored suit and tie. For ladies, we suggest a floor length dress or dressy jumpsuit.

Will the wedding take place outdoors?

Answer

The average temperature in February is around 60 degrees. Dinner will be held indoors, while the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors. We will be prepared for inclement weather!

Will phones be allowed during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests keep phones and cameras put away during the ceremony. Our photographer will capture everything, and we can’t wait to share the photos with you afterward!
