Flight

Airports

For those who will be flying: Redmond is one of the closest airports to Bend, around 30-40 minutes drive from Horse Butte. There is also a Bend Municipal Airport, though as far as we know it's quite small and we don't know much about the flight offerings. It looks to be around 20 minutes from Horse Butte. The Portland International Airport is around 3 hours drive away, but can sometimes have good deals! And our local Eugene Airport is also around 3 hours from Bend.

Home2 Suites by Hilton Bend

We have a courtesy block of 15 single-bed rooms ($189/night) here under "Bloom" for June 18th-22nd. We were told that all of these rooms have pull-out couches, but if you are relying on that to have enough beds I would definitely confirm that when you book! This hotel is 12 minutes from Horse Butte Trail. If you plan to stay here, please call the hotel and reserve your room(s) as part of the Bloom hotel block (or book using the link below) before May 18th. You're welcome to find another hotel or book outside of our blocks, we just wanted to be sure there were a few options.

We have a courtesy block of 10 double bed rooms ($189/night) and 5 single bed rooms ($179/night) here under "Bloom" for June 18th-22nd. This hotel is 19 minutes from Horse Butte Trail. If you plan to stay here, please call the hotel and reserve your room(s) as part of the Bloom hotel block before May 18th. You're welcome to find another hotel or book outside of our blocks, we just wanted to be sure there were a few options.

Vacation Rentals

Many of our family members plan to rent an AirBnB or Vrbo for the weekend. We are planning on staying in a vacation rental as well, and we would suggest booking early since it is sometimes difficult to find the size and location you're looking for! If you're having trouble finding a suitable place in Bend, we've stayed in great AirBnB's in Sunriver around 20 minutes from Horse Butte Trail.
