Our story starts on the dating app, Hinge. Yes, very 2021 of us. After a few weeks of being busy, texting, and FaceTime calls, we finally met in person on April 17, 2021. I know, "love at first sight" sounds so cliché, but we can confirm that it's true. At first, the distance between Gulf Breeze and Panama City seemed like a lot, but it's been so worth it. We get to spend our weekends together, enjoy each other's company, and have gotten to know each other's families; we cherish every moment of it. We're so grateful for everything that we've gotten to experience together and are so excited to see what the future holds for our marriage!

Let's look back at the second date that Jeremy and I had. It was springtime in mid April. Jeremy and I decided it would be perfect to set the hammocks up in the trees in my parent's backyard. We both felt at peace. It was relaxing listening to the birds chirping and the wind blowing. Now, let's fast forward to December 4, 2021. We hadn't set up the hammocks since our second date, and Jeremy told me that he wanted to go outside to set them up. While we were relaxing in the hammocks, he randomly wanted to switch with me. I told him that they were both the same, so he kept trying to say different things to get me out of the hammock, but I wouldn't budge. He eventually got out of his, and came over to mine. He had a big smile on his face and said, "There's something I need to show you." I was confused, but I caught on. I asked Jeremy, "If I turn around, will I see my family watching us with their cameras ready?" He laughed and denied my accusations, but sure enough, I turned around and my family was ready to capture the moment! I couldn't believe it! As he held my hands, he told me that it was this spot where he knew that I'd be the one. He got down on one knee, asked me to marry him, and I said YES!
