For those who don't know, we have been together for 10 years! We met the summer of 2015 as Lydia was going into high school and Chase was beginning his sophomore year. Ultimately, we can thank Taylor (the bride's older sister) for our meeting. At the time, Taylor had just started dating her now husband and wanted to spend more time with him, so she began going to the summer cross country training sessions, and forced Lydia to go with her. Little did she know that was where she would also meet her future husband. Lydia and Chase started talking that summer and began dating shortly after. First dates looked a little funny, considering neither of us had our driver's license - shout out to our parents for driving us around for the first couple of years of our relationship so we could hang out! We dated for all of high school until Chase graduated and went to college. For 6 years we dated at a distance, attending colleges several hours apart and then starting jobs in different cities. We saw each other as much as we could and learned a lot about patience and compromise during that time. Fast forward to today and we are finally working in the same city, living together, and feeling so grateful to be able to simply live life together every day. Looking back on things, neither of us truly realized when we first started dating at 14/15 years old that it would grow into the relationship we have today. We have grown individually and as a couple, and we are so thankful to have been able to watch each other grow up and become the people we are today. Now we are so glad we get to finally share our big day with all of you!
